The Ella Foundation has been created to inspire more leaders in the not for profit sector to be effective and successful.
John spoke to the new Manchester based group early on in March, sharing The Exhibiting Agency’s experience with not for profit organisations in the field of Live Marketing.
When asked what the highlights of the session were, some of the delegates gave these answers:
“Reasons why people buy – giving clarity on how to approach markets”
“The engaging style of the presenter”
“The interaction between the participants in response to the presenter”
Another new client, Dawood and Tanner, a specialist dental practice in London hired The Exhibiting Agency to conduct a strategy, planning, creative and implementation workshop prior to their attendance at the British Dental Association Conference and Exhibition (25-27 April at ExCel).
The Dawood and Tanner team have embraced the challenge, adopted all the tools and techniques and are really excited about their live marketing experience. We shall report on their results following the show next month.
The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre go it alone at Confex (well almost). Having worked with the QEIICC for a number of years they are well accustomed to The Exhibiting Agency’s approach to exhibiting and did it by themselves this year, again on a pod on the Visit London stand. They did however, hire our Nichola Allebone to complement their team and Sue Etherington, Commercial Director had this to say after the show:
“I wanted to say a big thank you to Nicola for her sterling work over Confex- Can you say a big thank you to her from all the QEIICC team.
As always we loved her passionate commitment to the job in hand and her lively approach- which kept us motivated too. I know it was a challenge this year, and she found it hard work herself!
We didn’t make our target of leads on the stand, but we did beat our target on enquiries taken! – so not all bad.”
We are working with them again on the Meetings Show UK to be held in the summer.
