Our international theme continues – John presented his Exhibiting Skills Masterclass at the H Hotel in Dubai – to around 30 exhibitors who will be attending The Big 5 exhibition hosted by DMG Events.
The session was a great success and discussions are under way to provide another one at the show itself in November. One delegates commented after the event:
On behalf of the management and the employees of AIRMATSER EQUIPMENTS EMIRATESL.L.C, take this opportunity to thank you for the marvelous presentation done by MR. JOHN BLASKEY . We would like to meet him again during the Big 5 Show. We will meet again. Thanking you.
The feedback from the delegates tells the familiar story that a large percentage of exhibitors do not know what return on investment they achieve when exhibiting.
The Exhibiting Agency can help with this – using our Outcomes measurement tool and customized feedback forms.
One of our longest standing clients The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre exhibited this month at a new event for the meetings industry – The Meetings Show UK at Olympia – having gone it alone at the last couple of International Confex outings, The QEIICC decided to embark on an Exhibiting Agency Strategy and Planning Workshop (taken over two session in February and April).
Objectives were set, messages agreed and staff allocated to appropriate roles, Nichola Allebone, a regular spotter for the QEIICC was hired and briefed.
And It’s great to know we still play a big part in their exhibiting success:
Just a note from the team here at the QEII to say a huge thank you for all of your help and support during The Meetings Show UK. We thought you’d be interested to know the outcomes:
- 200+ visitors ( including the 50 guests at the Assoc day conference here at QEIICC) – Objective 200
- 153 leads/contacts to follow up/connect with – Objective 150
- 65 Open Day/Site Visits – Objective 50
- Masterclasses interest 20—objective 25
- 43 Enquiries to follow up or progress – Objective 50
- Value of those leads – Over £1 million—objective £500,000
- Mini Masterclass attendees approx 70 – Objective 80
We’re really pleased with how the show went, and as always you play a big part in our success. So once again a big thank you, and we look forward to working with you again soon.
John presented to GAMBICA (the Trade Association for Instrumentation, Control, Automation and Laboratory Technology in the UK). It has membership of over 200 companies including the major multinationals in the sector as well as smaller and medium sized companies.
25 members of the Export Group attended the session at the Coventry Motor Museum and feedback has been positive, with a number of delegates looking for further support with their exhibiting activities. Highlights for them were:
- Closed stand design
- Planning
- Messaging – using a question as a message
- Outcomes – measurement
A second session is in the pipeline for later in the year.
